Pat's BlogFriday, September 10, 2004 at 10:57 PM Old School Friends Met a couple of old school friends tonight. That doesn't sound so important, does it? Well, on the face of it, it's not. But for myself and my mate Gareth (who were both in the same class at Secondary School and still keep in touch), who were down at our local tonight, it was. It's... just... odd. In a lovely way. People who I kind-of-knew from 8 years ago come bounding towards us in our local in a really friendly way to say "Hi!" tonight. They've changed SO MUCH and suddenly it feels like I knew them so well a long time ago whereas I don't think I did so much... although oddly now it doesn't matter. We're connected, because we both had the same experience at the same school so long ago. It was a lovely experience, although very odd hearing about some other people from school who've now got married / settled down / travelled for over a year... makes you look at your life in a different way. I guess the point of this blog is to say that, perhaps now, I'm going to start looking at things differently. But it could just be the Stella talking. 0 Comments:
